BACKGROUND Fever is a physiological response activated by integrative interactions between the neuronal and immune systems. The association of fever with development autoantibodies against various self-antigens controversial. We here evaluated if was associated increased levels anti-tissue transglutaminase (tTG) IgA autoreactive antibodies in children. METHODS This case-control study performed Amir-Al-Momenin Hospital Zabol City from January to December 2018. Febrile children (N=135) apparently healthy counterparts were included. Total anti-tTG measured ELISA. RESULTS From 270 evaluated, 144 (53.6%) 126 (46.4%) males females, respectively. mean age 4.7 ± 2.6 years. total titer 208 100 mg/dl, 15.9 68 mg/dl. There significant difference controls (1.97 1.12 mg/dl) febrile (30.2 94.9 p=0.002). Positivity for observed 16 (11.8%) out 135 while no subject control group had positive results. One cases showed persistent elevated after disappearance. On biopsy examination, this child confirmed have celiac disease.
